Most pakistani/indian men will on general be luck to live till their mid 60s. These men being exposed to all kinds of hazardois materials like, lead , cancer causeing chemicals from burning oils, dioxins and fumes from smelting metal and aluminium, they will live probably to their late 40s or early 50s. When i travelled india and palkistand 10 years ago i visited a factory not to different from this place that recycled metals and alloys to make machine parts etc. And every man that had worked there in the past had all lived to no older than 55 and all had died from cancer. It wasnt until the friend of mine whos an enviromental reseaechersnd professor in biology decidee to see of this was a one off cluster of cancer related deaths. Well it tuned out not to be and there weree more severe cases at a textile factory and the surrounding residents that lived on the creek where rhe factory dumped its horrible putrid stomach churning hot liguid, had suffered from respitory, kidney and liver diseases, birth defects, bone cancers as wwll aa bowel cancers. Dioxin lwvels in the soils andnwater were thousands of times higher tha what is safe.Liguids bejng dumped into creeks contained all sorts of toxic chemicals, pfas, acids like sulfuric and in one area even an acid called piranha liquid was being used and dumped in large amounts. Some chemixals were boiling when being released and the water we tested had no living creatures at all. Not even any signs of bacteria. It was basically dead. One of the places i visited was bhopal, the factory that had leaked a deadly gas and killed over 20,000 people and other living animals. Union carbide had owned the factory but nothing has been donento clean up the mess. I went near the pond that contained the toxic liquid and i instantly felt my eyes sting and throat burn. Only 10 minutes near it is enough to cause death. The thing is there are plenty of other dumping sites around india and pakistan that have that same effect on you. Not sure if theyre as deadly but just being near them for a few minutesis enough. Terrible conditions thatnl are totally avoidable
